The JCC Maccabi Games® celebrates its 25th birthday this summer. Started in 1982 as the North American Youth Maccabi Games, the first Games took place at the Memphis JCC with 300 athletes participating in a handful of sports. Now the Games are all grown up! Up to six thousand teens from all over North America and the world have come to as many as five host communities to take part in numerous sports and community-service projects.
